Shipping Information

Orders placed before 1pm PST Monday – Friday will typically ship the same day. Orders placed over the weekend or on recognized holidays will typically ship the next business day.

 

If your order exceeds a certain amount, you may qualify for free shipping as advertised on our site. This option is only available on orders shipped within the continental United States and will be applied to eligible orders at checkout.

 

Packages marked as returned to sender, and/or sent back to us without an authorized return or RMA label will be treated as returns and subject to the ordinary conditions of returns. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. You are welcome to place an updated order with corrected information at your convenience.

 

 

In-Store Pickup

We offer free In-Store Pickup as an option for our local Portland and Brooklyn, NY customers.  Eligible orders will be able to select Pickup at Checkout. To be eligible, all items within your online order must be physically available in-store at the time of transaction. You will receive an email notification when the order is ready for pickup with additional information. Bring a copy of your order confirmation to the store for an employee to verify. Orders will be held for seven days.

Domestic Shipping Guidelines

Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time. USPS shipping is required when shipping to a PO Box.

 

  • Standard Ground: 6-10 business days
  • 2-Day: 2 business days

 

If you believe that your order has experienced a delay in shipment that exceeds the normal processing and shipment time, please contact support@theamericantraveller.com.

International Shipping Guidelines

As with domestic shipping, estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time. Your country may require you to pay import fees, customs, duties and value added taxes (VAT), etc. which are not included in the shipping cost listed on our website. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. Please be aware that you may need to work with your local post office to pay customs and duties before they release your shipment to you. If you fail to pay applicable duties, taxes, and fees, the package will be abandoned, and Himalayan Gear will not refund the abandoned order, including shipping charges and fees.

Unfortunately, orders requiring Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping cannot be shipped outside of North America at this time.

 

  • International Economy: 7-21 business days
  • International Priority: 6-10 business days

 

At this time, we only accept returns of product shipped within the United States and Canada. We do not accept returns for items shipped internationally.
